#165 Rooftops and church tower

@mcsiegle challenged me to take an exterior architectural shot from slightly different angle to my usual, this is my first attempt seen on way to work, taken with the phone camera, edited in the phone and on picmonkey.
@mcsiegle Well this is my first attempt, not really succesful, think I've over processed this, but did like the way the tower appeared above the house roofs.

This is pretty awesome, very dramatic and I love the grainy look. Great job with editing!

Love the slant of those roofs, and the b&w contributes to a nice "old" feeling.

@denidouble First, please forgive my not responding sooner. You were so quick out of the gate! I love this! It looks like something out of an old photo album. Very brooding, in a way. Enhanced by the grainy quality and the fact that your route to work takes you past the back of the buildings, not their front. Do you ride a train to work? If you have time to continue with my challenge through the rest of the week, can you try focusing in tighter on a particular, smaller architectural element -- a door, a window, a railing or doorbell etc etc. You get my drift. I'm ashamed to say that I still have to go out and get some landscape shots for your challenge to me. Sit tight. I promise I will, soon.

Thank you. My route to work is varied by which day it is, train bus and some walking, this was taken from a main road bus stop. Am bit behind this week too, look forward to seeing your challenge photos.
