##196 Ilkley lido

Where I spent most of the afternoon, one of the few lido's still in use. Must be one with the best views, and is an unusual shape too. The fountain is part of the filtration system and reminds me of the holiday camp pools where my dad and I went for holiday's in the early sixties.

@arncliffe will post a link to the friends of the lido site later so folk can see it's history. It was a perfect afternoon and only cost me £2 with a local over 60s discount. Best £2 I've spent in ages :-D

What a great setting for a lido! Bet there aren't many days of the year when it attracts such a crowd!

@yrhenwr I believe it was a bit of a wash out last year, lets hope this summer makes up for it as it's the council I work for, could do with a bit of a boost to it's coffers.
