On my way home from my late night the usually clear road is now jam packed, new traffic lights are supposed to be an improvements? As the dark nights draw in we'll see....
I understand why traffic lights are necessary at certain times of day but I'm always frustrated if I have to wait at them at night time when there isn't another car in sight. I always think it would surely safe energy to turn them off at night. Intriguing is the word.
