Yesterday was just awful it never seemed to get light, and it rained and rained. So, I gave in and didn't take a photo, read a good book instead, I'm in the middle of the Kate Shugak stories by Dana Stabenow, greatly entertaining.
So, I went out today and got lots of material. This is a cheat for yesterday a flock of gulls at East Riddlesden Hall famously seen in several TV series, including 'Sharpe'. So maybe I'm permitted to go back in time too! ;-D
Reading the book was definitely the right decision, we went to my sisters for a lovely lunch and I didn't take a single pic which isn't the best start to the new year!! I intend to go and get some 'cheat' shots tomorrow although the weather may not play ball! Great capture of the white birds in flight against the dark building.
@ingrid2101@paulaw thank you bot so very much, will be back at riddlesden hall next year as it's worth a visit and did join National Trust so can get in for free.
