what a stunnig photo, Denise!! I don`t know the english for that but the plant on the left, we call it avenca, brought the perfect color balance to the whole scene. Amazing textures.

Maidenhair is my favourite fern, too. Mum always had some Maidenhair fern growing wherever we moved to when I was young. It's quite delicate, too. Lovely pic :)

When you see things like this, it's so easy to understand why people used to think that wells and pools were entrances to the lands of the fae, and why they have often been sacred places (hence that whole penny-throwing thing....votive offerings an' all that!).
