My daily drive to work takes about 45 minutes. I typically do not mind the commute as I am fortunate to travel the country roads, with very little city driving. A morning 16 oz cup of freshly brewed coffee and my audio books is just what the doctor ordered to start my day right. And I will be the first to admit, it proves to be the ideal setting for my daily prayers and talk with God as I listen to music.
Very nice shot, Rick. I like what you said too. Those drives like that can be either grueling or a nice quiet time with the Lord. Love the way you think.
great shot!! I drive about 35 mins to work and I used to listen to the radio--now I tend to like it quiet---it's my only quiet time during the day once school starts!! :)
Nice picture. My commute is only about 5 minutes so I take time to talk to God after I have my breakfast and before driving to work. Always have my rosary with me.
Great pic Rick, maybe I need some of those audio books. When I take the kids to school and back I spend a total of 4 hrs in the car each day,not nice.....
Re: Inception - really good - easy to follow - have to listen carefully at the beginning to hear the what is going on, otherwise could get confused.
I'm 60 & I loved it :D
Mmmm I could do a 45min country commute too...I've seen your photos you've posted from your morning commuting too and they are stunning. Nice theme shot!
LIKE, LIKE, LIKE this photo. You have your own hands and also the hands on your watch in the photo. Maybe because I am a wife I love that you took a pic of your hand that has the wedding ring on it. I also love how you spend your commute time.
i like this a lot!
I do drive also like 9 straight hours (of course, i have a couple of 10-min breaks/stopovers) to our Province and i just adore the sites i see on the road!
Love it for the theme.
