I am using this as my last "post" for this week's theme. Since there was a nice heavy mist the other morning, it provided a very nice blurred out background. The lighting was just so perfect that morning. Typically I don't have much luck with my fog photos coming out that great, but I was pleased with the ones I was able to capture the other morning. You know how somethings just "catch" your eye? Well as I was driving down one of my favorite back roads on my way to work the other morning, this simple post just stood out and shouted, "You want a nice pic?" I backed up and looked it over and liked the way it all came together. The red vine and the light golden stalks next to it just made it into a perfect photo. At least I thought so. Hope everyone has a great Monday.
Nice picture and I hope to have a good Monday. Never made it on my trip, I was called when I was near Hartford and told to go back home because the site would not be ready for Monday.
What a lovely photo, Rick! I'm not surprised at all that you absorb the beauty around you and are ready for a moment like this when you see it! I'm reading through my email comments, having come in from a day of helping hold our baby, and when I came to your name, I wanted to say thanks for your note. Wish I could get around to everyone, but I drew your lottery number :-) (hehe...lucky you!)
So georgeous--aren't mornings just beautiful, and the best time to take photographs. The red vine is poison ivy, right? Poison ivy turns such a beautiful red in the fall.
Your photo caught my eye on the pop page. These are the best photos. The ones you just have to stop in your tracks and take. Very pretty - the framing is great as is the composition and focus on this moody morn.
