A Barn For Mrs. Smith by digitalrn

A Barn For Mrs. Smith

I drive past this barn almost every day, and then last night as I was looking through all the postings, I read where Mrs. Smith (Carla) likes to photograph barns. Well as I drove past this today on my way home, it looked exceptionally nice with the snow on the ground. Even though the barn is mostly all brown, I thought B/W did it the most justice. I like B/W for photos like this. Just everything about the setting speaks to you, the silo, the fencing, and the grass growing along the fence. I wish there would have been a cow or two in the pasture. That would have made it almost perfect. So this is for Carla. Hope you had a great day Carla, and a great week ahead.
This is beautiful! The detail is great and the processing is wonderful! :)

I love this too, especially in black and white. My aunt and uncle lived on a farm in Minnesota when I was a kid, and due to all the special memories, farms always hold a very comfy, homey place in my heart. Nicely done, Rick!

Thank you for photographing this for me!! It's a wonderful picture. The fence in the snow all add to this picture just as you have described. I didn't realize how many barns are in my area until I started this project. The things we take for granted. Thanks for this picture...and for thinking of me. I hope you have a great day as well.
