The Grandkids are over for the weekend, and they had the rollerblades out. I was outside with them and it hit me that I hadn't uploaded a photo for today. I was thinking about it awhile and then it hit me, Hey, what a fun way to get around, and a good way to travel, by wheels. A weekend off, and looking forward to it. Hope you all have a wonderful evening.
How fun! Be careful of your hand! :-) Great shot, Rick. I used to roller skate for hours on end as a kid. Remember the kind that clipped to your shoes and you had a key to tighten them? Yes, I'm that old. :-)
@suelbiz47 Sue, bless you for thinking I was on those blades. No wayt. That woul dbe the death of me if I were to put those on my feet. And I also remember the ones that clipped on the shoes.

Great shot, love the feel of the roller blades, they look so sturdy and the laces such a contrast to the leather and the rollers. I have my granddaughter on Saturdays and love it. I can see you do too.
@suelbiz47 I remember them .... and the ones with just toe and heel leathers and a base with six or eight wheels in pairs .... no single line in those days!
I remember the key to tighten too ! How a photo can bring back memories , I had forgotten I used to roller-skate as it was called in those days but oh the speed !!!
Nice. I have never learnt how to ride on them and still wish to do . I guess it is too late but it is my daughter's main vehicle . She run with them even long distance (if not her bike) and now they are with her in Chicago for a couple of months.
