During the past fifteen months, I have seen some awesome artistry on here, and I have a special interest and admiration for those who have the gift of drawinmg and painting. So tonight I had some spare time, so when I came home, I did some research on-line, and I came across this awesome, concentrated course on drawing. They guaranteed results. I sat for hours practicing, and finally finished my first piece, a self portrait. What do you think? Hey, with surrealism, anything is possible LOL. You can't blame a guy for dreaming can you? Disclamer: I hope you do not think I actually drew this. I wish.
Some draw with paint; some with charcoal. Some draw with words; others with pencil. So why not draw with a camera and a great photoprocessing program? (o: I definitely like this one more than the 3 heads!! Fun shot Rick!
No not really...but I know of someone who watched lessons painting ok the TV and self tought herself. and I must say she's good. needless to say Rick I like your picture (painted or not)
@marytj Mary, I truly appreciate everyone's kind words, but I see my project more as fun, an exploration of idea tht I learn form some of the most talented poeple I could imagine here on 365. Those are the ones that truly inspire me to have fun. You are kind with your words.
The themes really kick-start 365er's imaginations and you're doing a great job! You've inspired me to play around a little and try something like this, too...I love the idea! Well done!
