I went out for a drive this morning, and I was surprised to see that much of the rain we had earlier in the week was still covering the fields. The ground must still be quite saturated. Typically it is absorbed within a couple of days, but this has been since Wednesday, and as you can see, this farmer's field still looks like a lake. Our water level is high enough. No snow this year.
Well I was sure it was a lake..beautifu reflection..must must have had a lot of rain.you know the color of red brings out the other colors in a picture.
Beautiful reflection. I'm sure the farmer doesn't think so. We drove north of Houston this weekend and Lake Conroe was so dry, the boats were several feet in the air in their docks. Funny how there is such a difference in the weather conditions - us so dry and you guys still too wet.
Wow- great shot- the reflection is awesome. I didn't think we'd had that much rain. Then I remembered I wasn't here when you had rain. I was in NY state at my son's!
