Sibling Rivalry

A dreary day today. On my way home it was foggy, raining, and not much of an opportunity for photos, at least any with some color. I spotted these two trees in a field, behind them nothing but fog. Kind of a neat, plain shot I thought, but it needed something so I played with a few textures till I fixed on this one. Just something to do.

Yes the wood texture looks very fitting..it's fun to experiment at times.
one of my large plants through shadowy monster typle figure on some drawn blinds. I tried to get a picture of it but no...whatever I tried it didn't work.

It puts me in mind of those pictures that are burned onto wood with a soldering iron or whatever they use to do it. The trees against the wood grain background give that impression.
