Today we had the pleasure of going to one of Kassidy's basketball games. She decided to try her hand at basketball this year, and I must admit, it was fun being there to watch them. It's a young team, and the coaches were great, giving them prompts and the direction they needed to improve their skills. I'm not sure if basketball is going to be her sport, but she is giving it a try. Her team lost by one point, 12 to 11, not bad for the second game.
Great that Kassidy is interested enough to try out different sports and it's fun to go see them play. I remember going to hockey games with Ann and Bruce when their son's played..Grant does still play in University. the little guy is buy with his home team...only Britney gave up her figure skating when she got to be a bit older.
The main point is that they enjoy the competition without losing out on the fun. It sounds like she's got the right kind of coaches for that. It's really fun to support your grandchildren in their endeavors- sports, music or otherwise. Great job!
