We had a brief snow squall this morning, quite unexpected, but it was nice. I grabbed my camera and went out to grab a few photos. This beautiful old church sits in the middle of town, I believe it was built in the early to mid 1800's. The snow provided a nice soft blur to the photo, and I like how it's hidden a bit behind the tree. My home town is blessed with several old churches like this, and one of these days I want to go through them. Hope you are all having a great Saturday.
Beautiful church, Rick. You really should try to go inside some of them. I have a new column for the local paper called "Where We Worship" and I was inside a simply gorgeous Episcopal church today for a tour. You would have loved it. It had gorgeous wooden pews with nautical carvings on each one and beautiful stained glass windows. Sadly, it was too dark to get good photos there today.
Ricksterrrrrrrrr. What are you doing with another cold?? So much going around. It hasn't interfered with your ability to take another awesome shot, however. This is majestic!!! Love it.
Wow the tree is as high as the church steeples. it kind of frames the church which is very beautiful and you're so lucky to live in an old town with so many interesting buildings..would love to see pictures of the inside.
