Country Farm Land

From my commute this morning, just another glimpse of some beautiful farmland. Speaking of farmland, this year, Farm Aid 2012 will happen in Hershey, Pa on September 22 with Dave Matthews Band and many others like Willie Nelson. Farm Aid has been around almost every year since 1985 raising awareness, support, and funds to help keep family farmers on their land, so far raising more than $40 million. Dave Matthews himself maintains a farm and vineyard in Virginia. Hope you all have a great weekend. I hear rain is on its way!

Great old tree! The farmers can't get enough help. Around here, the farms are disappearing by the day to huge subdivisions. Not sure where our food will come from soon. I always buy local to try to support them.

That is a great concept. is the Farm Aid concert always in different areas.. how far away from where you are..I guess you will not miss it. I wouldn't if I lived there. beautiful serene looking picture.

@bruni It is held in different areas, and not sure how they chose where they will play. It is going to be held in Hershey, Pa, the home of the Great American Chocolate Bar, about 15 minutes away from where I live. Not sure I am going due to my schedule, the cost of the tickets, and their availability. It will be packed to the gills, I am sure, so the crowd is going to be mad.
