Well, after several weeks off, I'm back. The time off was so necessary, and I was able to get a lot done, but I did miss everyone. Thank you so much for your e-mails. I really enjoyed hearing from you. This evening Josie surprised me with a belated birthday gift, a Hot Air Balloon Flight. Her birthday is Saturday the 15th, so it was a combined celebration. It was absolutely amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone. The evening was clear, the visibility was extraordinary, and it was an experience of a lifetime. We lifted off in the heart of the Amish community in Lancaster County, a town called Bird In Hand. We floated around the county for a little over an hour, soaring to about 5700 feet. What a way to end the work week! Now I must get back into the swing of things.

@pamfromcalgary Pam, thank you so much. The break was good, and yes, most of the renovations are complete. Still some painting to finsih up, but all in all, it was productive.

Welcome back Rick. I was suprised last night to see your happy face once more smiling at us. first of all a belated Birthday greeting and a wish for Stephany to have a wonderful Birthday today. I can imagine what a wonderful surprise it must have been to receive such a fantastic birthday presen to be ablet to fly in a hot air balloon.

Good for you guys! My husband and I took a balloon ride on our first anniversary. It's definetly an experience. Looks like you had some company as well.
