This was as I left work today around 4:00pm EST leaving the campus, not too bad as you can see, but as I made my way home through the country roads, the water was beginning to pool in the fields. When I return to work tomorrow morning I suspect the water will be across the roadways, and I will be looking for alternative routes. Can't wait until this all passes. To all those in Sandy's path, stay safe as we wait out the storm.
Stay safe, yourself! I understand about healthcare workers being "on" 24/7, but your safety is important, too... if you are injured you will not be able to help for a much longer period of time... :)
Glad to see you're here to give us a photo journal update, Rick! The news reports sound terrible...guess we'll know more in the morning. Our hearts are with everyone in the path, but special prayers go to those willing to look after others as well!
From this side of the Atlantic it looks totally devastating for a great number of people! Just being without power while it was all going on must have been very frightening.
Here in NE Ohio I think we got the worse it's going to get. I know other parts of OH suffered more than we did. But that wind sure was scary...I like your documentation...
Nice collage by the way...
