Lift Your Eyes

I actually grabbed this shot out my side window on my way home, "from the hip" and I really like how the photo turned out. The angle, the tree, and the clouded sky. I hope you all have agreat weekend.
I love the pov and how the hint of the cross continues the eye up - great title

I think taken at the angle enhances this, and the mono is good also

A beautiful church. love the angle and the gorgeous sky.
starting waterpills tomorrow.. my legs, feet down to my toes are so full of water that the pessure on my heart combined with a bit of a cough plus labored breathing seems to be coming from that..also a bit of watr in my lungs all since the last episode at the ER. what will be next? wish you and yours a great weekend.

@bruni Oh Bruni - hope you are feeling better soon. Be careful with all that edema. Take it easy until it is cleared.

Great brickwork in this church, round the windows, and up under the eaves!

@bruni Yes Bruni, please keep a close watch on your breathing, and I'm sure you will be sleeping more upright. That needs to be taken care of and obviously your heart is beating too fast and not efficiently enought to circulate all the fluid. Do not wait too long to be seen

isn't it funny how sometimes we just shoot a quick shot and it turns out wonderful. Other times we set up a shot for 15 minutes and we hate it.

The B&W is perfect for the architecture and the mood of this composition. It looks like a poster for a movie of the 40's.

I love to see "from the hip" shots that worked! I don't have much luck with that technique.
