They finally came to install our new awning on the back porch. We had snow and ice guards installed along the roof's edge to prevenmt large chunks of snow and ice from falling off the roof. Our previous awning was damaged last year, so now that we have that problem fixed, we thought we would install a new awning. They started the job yesterday, and hopefully Monday they will finish. With all our furnishings put away for the Winter, right now it looks really bare out back. Can't wait for Spring.

@lauriehiggins Laurie, thanks to Dad, we had the extra cash to do some projects this past year. I must say, I would rather have him here with us to enjoy it together.
@griff Well Darren, it has been a productive and busy year, but most of it was contracted out. I am not handy when it comes to fixing up things. I am dangerous with a hammer LOL.
