As I went out for a little walk today, I was kind of taken back by the silence out there. No birds could be heard, but every once and awhile I did here what sounded like the ice cracking. The creek was not frozen totally, so I believe the mid freezing temps may have been causing the changes in the ice.
That stump is surely showing the ice. The reflections are really nice too. I've been studying the birds lately and they seem to come in a swarm and then disappear.
Great textures! The sound of ice cracking can sound scary! Especially when driving out on a lake to go ice fishing we sometimes do. The cracking sound can be quite loud!
@digitalrn Lol well it is so cold here that the lakes freeze solid a few feet down! Before driving onto the lake tho we always unbuckle, sometimes windows half down.
