Rudbeckia by digitalrn

Rudbeckia

Josie thought there were a few empty spaces in the flower garden so she picked up a few more flowers for the garden. This one is called Rudbeckia. A very nice one I think. I like the center the best. By the way, the sticker was still in the pot. That's the only reason I knew its name, LOL.
Kind of reminds me of a daisy and a sunflower! Very pretty! Lovely shot.

I like how you made it look like you were peeking through a door's peephole into the garden.

Beautiful flower..when I read your comment about a few empty spots in the garden, it reminds me of myself saying the same to Hans. his answer was right when he said let them grow first they will fill outand every year we have to cut flowers in half and give them away.

Gorgeous shot, Rick. Fabulous color and detail! You'd probably know this flower better as a 'Black-eyed Susan'. Josie must be an amazing gardener.

I was looking at the shot and thinking "It looks like a Brown-Eyed Susan" (aka Black-Eyed Susan but that sounds so violent!!) and then I read Peggy's comment. What do you know?! I recognized a flower without looking it up in my wildflower book!! Great shot Rick- I like the effect you used on it- illuminates the pretty yellow of the petals.

I would have thought it a "Lazy Eyed Susan?" IS that the same thing? I am not too great with some flowers' names. Nice shot! I am going to buy some lantana and plant it to attract butterflies, hummingbirds, etc. Did you ever get yours planted?
