The Ceremony

The second bridge over the railroad track has been completed, and about a month ahead of schedule. This evening they had the opening ceremony and ribbon cutting. No more waiting for the train. Right over we can go. Josie and I will travel over it for the first time tomorrow morning as we head to work.

Wow, I would like to read news like this in our local paper. the extension of our 404 highway takes another year they say. we're getting so anxious as it seems like it takes forever. to me it looks like a short but quite steep rise to the bridge or does it only look like it with all the people in front of the incline.
