Back Porch View

It was raining off and on all afternoon, and the temperatures stayed just far enough below freezing to create a layer of ice on everything. I am still holding on to the weatherman's prediction of warmer temperatures, up to the mid to upper 30's overnight. Come on Weatherman, I have faith in you. Do not let me down.

I like how the dark part of the pic really captures your eye...makes for an "negative" effect...You are not sue for a moment if the white part is the "stuff of the shot" or the dark part is. Optical illusion!

I'm sending my sympathies, Rick! We get a lot more freezing rain than snow around here (although we don't get a whole lot of either). The freezing rain is definitely NO FUN.

Can I come live with you - just for the rest of winter?? I just heard on the news we're under an extreme cold alert (-35C to -40C by tonight) and blizzards will be coming through with no visibility and up to 30cm of more snow..Not a good way to start a Monday.
