This is a little red brick storage shed on the grounds where I work. I played around with it for a little while and decided on this B/W version as it most accurately portrayed the cold day we were having. As you can see the snow was still clinging to the shrubbery next to the shed, and there is still snow on the roof. We reached a high of 15'F today, a warm spell for our area in the last few days.
I need help, I really do. I see this great shot and all I can think of, is how it is so close to the building, it will trap moisture. I told you I needed help.
I have a feeling this picture looks so much better in b and w. trying to picture it in red, green or brown shrubbery with snow on top. now that I think of it, it might be as nice. all this means sI like it.
@sarasdadandmom Actually it hasn't damaged the building as far as I know. I did get your message Terry. wow that would be so cool to pack up and head to a warm spot for awhile. Hey, we could visit Denise. It's warm there
@bruni I'm almost wondering whether some selective color leaving the bricks come through, but then desaturating them to mute them, yet still leave the red color might work here too.
This is a pretty shot too. I like your camera eye. You have a knack for catpuring some great subjects. Not sure if you can relate to celsius. We are experiencing a heat wave here in Australia, with high temps of above 40 degrees celsius for about six days in a row. 40 degrees celsius is about 104 degrees fahrenheit.
