I was under the mistaken impression that it was to be warmer today. wow, was I wrong. It reached a blazing high of 18'F. I went for a little drive at lunch time and stopped by a stream. A 10 minute walk around was more than enough out in that frigid temperature.
Don't see much melting going on ! Good shot with I'm sure frozen fingers. That 18 was our low this morning when I was walking. Not much to shoot at that hour.
Funny, I just mentioned 10 minutes in one of my comments to you. yes 10 minutes or even less they say you can get frostbites and how can you take picture without gloves on in this weather. I'm looking forward to my reprieve from the cold when Grace and I embark on our cruise early next month.
Nice capture and perfect title! I've had the same experience here. Normally our temp is in the 30's or 40's with a pretty good wind chill. This year we're in the teens and 20's during the day and sometimes single digits at night. It makes outside photos a little more challenging.
Yikes, looks so cold out there. I have never seen so many shots of snow and ice in one winter all my life. No wonder you are longing for the arrival of Spring. Hope it won't be long.
