I was hoping to grill out this weekend, and I was tickled with Carla's post @mrssmith using the Fisher Price toys depicting what was a nice little picnic on our patio. The weekend was beautiful, and it would have been perfect, but as it often happens, life and all its extra things get in the way. Nothing exciting about this photo, but it is part of the backyard project I worked on today. I am going to double the size of the grill patio. These are 16 inch square concrete slabs that I had to move out of the way so I can begin to prepare the ground surface. Hopefully next weekend we can get the six extra slabs and then finish the job.
@allie912 Oh Allison you are too kind. When it comes to being handy, not really, but with things like this I can handle. When it comes to building things, and other detailed things like mechanical work, etc. not too much. That's when I call in the experts. I wish I could do more, but it's not in me.
I had to go to bed early last night since it was back to work today. I'm just now getting a chance to seeing this picture. I'm glad you liked the scene. I'm hoping that next weekend you can grill on this larger patio. :)
