First Measurable Snow by digitalrn

First Measurable Snow

On Thursday we had our first measurable snow. They were only calling for about an inch or so but we actually ended up getting about 5-6 inches, and it was a slick mess driving home.
That is so amazing - November is rather early! Great getting the golden glow of the lights amongst all that black and white!

Oooh that's a significant snowfall. The vehicle looks made to cope with it though. Is it yours?
Nice to see you here again. Hope you're well.

I like what you have chosen to photograph. The lights make it a spectacular shot and the fact that the windshield wipers are sticking straight up give it some added interest. Sorry to hear about your snowfall though.

Hi Rick. So nice to see you. are you well. We're still alive and kicking as Hans would say. Love your take on showing us your first snowfall. The car looks great on black background and the golden lights and the upright windshield make this picture stand out.

My in-laws in WV got 8 inches the other day. I hope it's all gone before we go there tomorrow.

Well, I guess that answered my question.

We got 9 inches! Thankfully both Jeff and I were home when the bulk of it came down. I like how the wipers make the car look like it's saying, "I give up!"

@happypat LOL, that's how it was when we lived in Virginia when I was in school. Everything closed with the first snow flake
