Went out for a drive today since it is my last vacation day until I retire, and I needed to get some fresh air. I would like to share an update on my relative. There has been no change today, and he has been on a vent for about a week. They have been unable to keep his oxygen levels up. He has been running low in spite of the vent so the physicians offer little hope. Physicians spoke with my cousin and if no improvement by tomorrow his Mother has chosen to remove the vent due to the probability of brain damage, and poor quality of life.
How sad this story is! It must be very heart breaking for the mother to take a decision like that. May God help her and help the patient. Beautiful shot.
I'm sorry that I missed this when it was first posted! I don't know what has happened since January but am hoping there is peace and comfort in your family since then.
I had to turn off the vent on my husband. Even when you know it's the right thing to do it's hard.
