The site automatically uses the date/time that the camera has when the picture is taken. Make sure your camera has the correct time. You can also change the date when you're adding the picture, or edit the picture and change the date.
@selbeclan -- You're taling about the date on exif info, right?
Same thing happened to me last year when I would upload photos from my phone. Except, the date was one day in the future (??).
I would definitely check the date/time settings, sometimes quirky things happen. Especially if you swapped out batteries etc. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you've checked the date on your camera, you're saving the photo under the correct date in your calendar, and you know you took the pic on a particular date, that's all you can do. :)
Just spent 30 minutes trying to work out how to change the date on my Fuji when I noticed it was still in December 2011... That explains why I was having trouble finding them once I'd uploaded to the computer! Doh!
Thanks everyone for the input. I did swap the batteries earlier in the week so maybe that is what messed up the date. The only reason I was asking is I have seen the weekly theme contest and they are pretty strict about the date the pic was taken. If I decided that one of my pics is good enough to enter, I hope that the date will be correct.
