@onie there are definitely some cool photographers playing with light. Look up Sonia Sobrates. She plays with light too but she's blind. Makes me feel like a kid who is trying too hard when I see her work.

These are great, they must take a good 5 mins to create. I tried light painting last week for the first time. It was fun and I'd love to try it again sometime.

@kiwichick that's an awesome shot. Especially how the light illuminates the person enough to see they are there but not too much. Just awesome.

Wow - beautiful light photos ... I tried an orb nd failed miserably - I cannot keep my arm out straight and get the wires tangled around my arm lol

when you try for the orb, just have your armat your side, and bend your elbow out as you spin. Look at the body position of Peter in the photo above. Get spinning, then slowly rotate all the way around...you will have an orb!!

ha ha...it certainly takes some practise!!!! I've done one, but it was a bit off kilter, so I will be practising some more!!
