Interesting article Paul, thanks for the link.

FWIW, I prefer to avoid flash altogether. I know that some situations call for it but whenever possible I use ambient light. Just my preference.

ooo more cool toys! not something i'd invest in as an amateur, but nifty nonetheless. i agree with dean, though. once i started project365 & was taking lots of photos i quickly discovered how ugly they usually look with flash XP not that mine always turn out well in either case, but i'm getting better & better

to think of all the research that went into blocking UV light from the film as it ruined many a sunny pictures and now someone is using it for something besides UV photography... which is unique by itself

I've been wondering if this evolved from the tech used to get all those amazing astronomy photos?
