Those are pretty cool. I have an idea of how you might go about that but I'm sure it is not enough to actually create that. I wouldn't know where to start with the coding to make it move after editing it.
I created a gif a little while ago. @killerjackalope Sadly it let me upload to my project (I think) but wouldn't play as a gif. lets see if it works in here.
@killerjackalope yeah, it says in the FAQ that gifs are accepted, but like Sarah says it only shows one frame :(
I tried it for my avatar and it only showed the frame where i looked like a giant mong.
@shadesofgrey i'm guessing it's some kind of contrast trickery that makes them so three-dimensional? The animating bit is quite simple, but i don't have the patience to watch all that tutorial to figure out the clever bit! :s
I thought it might have something to do with adjusting the size and position of layers of the same picture and then looping them so that it appears that they are moving back and forth....clearly more complicated than that.
