a while ago, I took this photo of a young Tolai lad sitting in front of Tavuvur. Shortly after this photo was taken, she boomed and sent piles of ash and rocks into the sky along with lightning. I got some spectacular shots of it, but I liked this one of the lad.

I would love to see something like this once in my life. The cherry on the cake would be to be good enough to take great pictures like this of the event.

@cookie123 @elzibell - thanks Bernadette and Elzibell... while it is amazing to stand at the base of a volcano while it is blowing its top, it is truly scary too when the big rocks are falling!
