I know I must not be the only one who does not want to post a picture each day in this section to learn how to better myself. If you are interested in getting feedback on your daily shots, or even the occasional one, please add the word critique to your tag. Hopefully we can get good advice on how to better our photography skills. Please be aware if you tag this that you are asking people to pick apart your photo so that you can learn and improve your craft so please only tag this if you are ready to hear the good the bad and the ugly.
Sorry, I didn't see it suggested to tag CC in the other post. I had suggested maybe we could do this in my last thread and just wanted to get the ball rolling on it. Hope it works...I love getting feedback and reading tips on other pictures too.
Great plan! I like the last part of your post - I usually get a strange look when someone asks my opinion about something in life because I don't always give them the answer they want to hear. I always think to myself, "why did you ask me, then?!" LOL
I had a few critiques earlier this week, but my latest picture hasn't generated anything. It did post kind of dark, but I liked the idea. I'm still only getting 2 or 3 views on my pictures. Oh well. I tried.
Okay, I've added the "critique" tag (along with the "cc" tag) to a couple of my photos and I've added comments to other people's shots, but I'm still getting very few responses. I'm starting to get discouraged. Any suggestions? Are my shots really that bad? :)
Personally I think the Critique TAG is a great idea; however it is not used by people. Keep doing what you are doing. and if you want, I will critique your photos for you, just ask . So take my words as my opinion and my opinion ONLY. I am not a pro, but I know what I LIKE.
I've been using the critique tag but am not getting feedback, either... except about the content and that comes mainly from my friends who will love anything I do. I suspect that I just don't have the kind of viewers who feel they know enough about photography to critique another's work (or my pictures are so bloody awful they leave the viewer speechless?).
