I really enjoyed viewing the summer photos from the Northern hemisphere last year and thought it would be nice to share some of our Summer fun whilst viewing the magic of winter.
Summer and Winter in Long Beach aren't much different but Tucson cools down quite a bit. It gets pretty chilly in Tucson but not very often. I believe this week in Tucson we were in the 70s (much better than 115).
Last summer we were without power for over a week, after Cyclone Yasi smacked up our part of the world. This is my Summer and my Winter photo from then, as it is of my daughter, named Winter.
@tinatmmc Those 2 photos are adorable! This is my most Summery shot so far, haven't been on here for a Winter yet. I'm really enjoying see ing Winter shots from parts of the world that get snow. It's not something we'll ever see here in Western Australia :)

And this is my favourite of this winter. It was a miserable windy and sleety day but we had about 10mins of nice low sun.
