Hi all - I'm thinking about laying down the cash for one of these bags, for they are the awesome. Do any of you have one? If so, what are your thoughts?
I'm especially interested in how well the dividers stay in place - in the bag I have now, they keep detaching and it irritates the snot out of me.
@gailwf They carry them at my local camera shop and so I've gotten a chance to drool over them on many, many occasions. :) I want something that's a purse/carry your iPad/carry your camera hybrid, and these fit the bill. But, yeah, for $169, those dividers BETTER stay in place. :)
This is the first time I saw those bags too... Major drooling going on here. @beautifulthing I would like to use one of those hybrids too before I become a bag lady.
@beautifulthing Lol, I think you should put a warning on this thread! I have just spent an hour drooling over different camera bags!! Not hit the order button yet, but it was a tough job ;-) I got a nice Manfrotto sling-back for times when I'm carrying the stuff for quite a long time, but these bags are very tempting to add to my collection...
@bmnorthernlight I know, right?? :) I have camera bags a'plenty, and purses galore, but the purses don't work well with the cameras, and the camera bags look like camera bags, and none of them have an iPad slot. I've about all but talked myself into it and I don't even know about the dividers yet!
I just ordered my Porteen bag!!! Cannot wait till it gets here!! I ordered it with the full front leather flap. She has small, med, and large bags, the mens are nice too. And you can design it anyway you like! http://porteengear.com/
@beautifulthing i think the large bags have a slot for an I pad, if not she would probably make one for you custom order! Mine is a custom order and she didn't charge me any more for the extra leather!

@beautifulthing Well, I had just about talked myself into getting an iPad, just because my laptop is far too big for my sling-back ;-) That's a good enough reason, right?! Or maybe I also need a drool worthy pretty bag...and a pay rise please!
@bmnorthernlight lol i am excited, and she is really nice to deal with! After looking around and hearing some not so great reviews on the Epiphanie bags, I came across these form an earlier thread on this topic. I do believe that Autumn Eden has one, and she really like it. gonna go try to find the shots of it :o)
I was looking into the Juju Kelly Moore bag, I saw it in the store...Its HUGE, and HEAVY...without anything it! I'd never be able to carry around anything in it! I ended up with the Epiphanie Lola bag... I love it! no Ipad slot though.

I can tell it will be amazeballs. :) As for the dividers - they aren't just Velcro that's supposed to lock onto the side of the bag, or onto a small strip. They are Velcro, of course, but there is like a HUGE strip lining the bag for them to grab onto. I'm probably not explaining it that well - but it looks like it will be nice and secure. :)
I thought I would love my Ephiphanie Bag but ended up selling it after I got my Porteen Gear Bag which I LOVE. I am actually considering trying to get one more since variety is the spice of life and all that. Here are some images of my bag and if you click through I give you more info on it:
So I just happened to go to my local camera store...and the JUST HAPPENED to have the Kelly Moore bags. They were lovely. I did resist buying one at this moment..why??? I dont know...I'll probably just HAPPEN to go back tomorrow!!!
Hey you, have any of you bought one of those bags now? I am personally not very much into the porteen ones as they are really pretty but look too much like messenger bags at this moment and I want a really truly female purse.
@traeumerlein87 I did get a Kelly Moore bag...LOVE IT. I would use it daily but I dont want to take my camera to work, otherwise I carry it all the time. I got the Kelly Moore Hobo bag...in mustard. My neighbor just bought the same bag in black.
