DREAM CATCH ME WHEN I FALL
January 6th, 2012

I had the lines below in my head for days, and this idea popped into my head.
Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying:
And this same flower that smiles to-day
To-morrow will be dying.
- "To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time," Robert Herrick (quoted in Dream Theater's "A Change of Seasons")

I have been mainly using quotes and lyrics for the last year.....

'The Crow is a pretty bird when the Jackdaw is not present'
(Latin Proverb)

"So roll over...
Scattered on the shore,
Surely washed away.
Feeling somewhat deserving
Of what will be someday."

"Good Morning, Mr. Magpie
How are we today?
And now you stole it, all the magic
took my memories"

"With the birds I’ll share
This lonely view "

Ok I have a few. I have one favorite from my quote shots and it is still my favorite of my whole project.

I mostly use song lyrics for photos...

like this one called "Alone" (you can read lyrics in the photo's description)

In fact, I was so excited when someone created a song challenge in September since I already had several photos that were either inspired by songs or reminded me of a song once I captured the moment.

But, I do have some that are quote inspired photos.

"If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"

‎"Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." -Psalm 4:23

"If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face."

"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." -Psalm 56:8
