Photo editing

Anyone got any free editing software that I could use. I have one but it does not do layers and things like that. Thank you for any help.

Think of Photoshop basic ... and you have Gimp. It doesn't do all the fancy stuff (like run actions) - but it does everything else, pretty well.

I would have to go with GIMP...it's close to photoshop, and yet t is free.

For simple things I prefer Picasa. The "I'm Feeling Lucky" feature usually does a great job in my opinion and is a very quick way of enhancing your pictures with a click of a single button.

@mebswartz After you import some pictures, double-click one of them and you will see some buttons on the left...it's in there. See the link below for a picture.
