Kodachrome 64

I know there's been a few topics on why you started the 365 project, but thought I'd start a new thread on what kick started my journey.

Last year I read on the BBC website a blog about this guy who is taking a pic a day using Kodachrome 64 film to mark the end of it's production.

Now, I've no idea about the significance of that type of film, but I liked the fact you could do something like this without being a pro, but just snapping something each day. Anyhow, it got me thinking about doing something similar and after checking the old interweb, I stumbled upon this site and as they say... the rest is history.

Here's his site if you fancy checking out his pics http://www.64x64.co.uk/

Kodak made Kodachrome transparency film in two speeds, ASA 25 and ASA 64. I f you wanted to take a 35mm format to a 4' x 6' print you first made a slide on K 25. K-64 was the next step down. Both will be missed by filmers for ever!
