So, I used to just use the Windows photo gallery to edit things, but I ran an update on my computer and it changed the version to one that... I just don't like, dagnabbit. It's part of Windows Live. Anyway. I tried restoring the computer to undo the change, tried uninstalling the program, am horrible with computers if thats not already obvious... and can't get the program back. Just wondering if anybody could suggest a program that I could download to edit photos? I found a couple sites online, but I am usually not connected to the internet in my house. Can't go buy something, as I'm in a little town in Ecuador. Kind of dangerous to travel around my town with my laptop. I usually edit at my house without internet and transfer pictures with a flash drive at an internet cafe. Sigh. Wondering if theres something I can install and use without being connected.
Any help? Thanks 365ers.
I like picnik. For $25 for a year, it's well worth it. They even have a free version you can use with a lot of the basics. But honestly, I use the Windows Live photo editor too and when we updated our computer, I didn't like it at first either. It took a bit of getting used to. I'm really comfortable with it now so maybe it's worth a bit of a try.
Hi there, I use photofiltre free download and its a great easy program to use. You dont need to be on line to use it either.. http://photofiltre.en.softonic.com/
I use Photoshop CS5,Picasa 3,LightRoom 3,ACDsee Photo Manager 12,Olympus Master ...
Oh,wait, but I cant use them for anyhting complicated haha. I only use them to adjust the lighting/contrast (with Photoshop),make collages (witch Picasa),and HDR (photoshop)... But all the major new stuff are a big blur to me,so far.I guess I`ll check out the software the others recomended ,in this thread.
I'm using Gimp but it does have a steep learning curve. it's enough like CS4 to make it worth learning but in the mean time I'm looking for something quick and dirty and I've settled on Picnik. Great thread btw!!!!!
