Can you post ahead?

I see you can date your photos...can you upload ahead of time and have them post on the date you set? I am new - just wondering! Thanks!

Why would you need to upload ahead of time?

You can only post a day maybe two ahead, and this is because of the different timezones across the globe. The spirit of the project is one photo a day, if you are going to be out of computer/internet range for awhile, there is no shame in catching up :)

True. 1 photo per day is all that the project is asking, but if you want to post a day or 2 ahead then I guess it's because of (quoting @veralynnds) the varying timezones. What I think you want to do is to upload a photo way ahead because you may not have the time to access the Internet in the days to follow & you don't want to appear late. What I suggest, if that is the case, is to not mind if you post them as "late". It's very understandable & almost everyone here does that. There's this something going on in 365 that our "friends" anticipate what we will post next. Where's that "feel" gonna be if you post ahead?

One other thing, some technology, which definitely is not introduced here because of the "feel" that I described, somewhat called "Date-triggered Upload" is something like you "upload an entry that is future-dated, that entry will be in limbo until the pre-set date is triggered." It's automatic but not really advisable with our project.

There are times where I will not have access to the internet and was just wondering if there was a way for me to upload them and not have them actually post until the day they needed to be. I have this feature on my blog. I can upload and write a post and have it "go live" on the date I specify. I did not know if there was such a service here. Just curious. :o) Thanks for the replies. I will just have to post late if I am not able to get on the net... :o) Thanks again for helping!
