If you had a rubber duck, where would you put it?

January 6th, 2011
My 365 Project is all about my Rubber Duck Lola, I got her as a Christmas present off of my best friend and she's quite small.
I have had trouble taking pictures of her because of how small she is when using my phone camera.

However random, creative and brilliant other peoples ideas are, they are far too big for my tiny little Lola.
I am determined to carry my project out for the whole 365 Days because I cant remember the last time I done something the whole way through.

So, cutting the story short...
I need tips on taking pictures in small areas.
Small areas where I can put Lola.
Funny places to put Lola.

I did a couple of rubber duckie shots in my Project when I hit a wall, lol. They do photograph easily. Concentrate on giving Lola a personality and see where that takes you. Take her everywhere! Even portions of her body (beak, wing, etc) would work well in different crops. Have fun!!

Checked out your Project--whoo, okay! That one photo is um, an interesting place to put a duck. I'd say you'll have no problem figuring out where to put Lola... (:

Ha! Quite a few of my friends were very surprised by my picture from today, just wanted to do something not many other people would do... :)

It's a bold, rubber duckie move, I'd say (:

We decorated our Christmas tree with rubber Ninja ducks this year.

Awesome, I wouldn't risk it... My dog keeps trying to eat Lola already, so she would have eaten the tree!

You could always let her float around in the toilet.

On the toilet with a magazine
In the bathtub with water or bubbles or if the tub is too big use the sink
In a pot on the stove, Duck Stew?
sitting on eggs

When my sister and a few of her friends came one of them had a gnome with her to take photos of everywhere. He was about the size of your thumb. Easiest one to photograph was on the back of a kangaroo, hardest was at the beach pool at night.

Maybe set a few times a day when you stop and photograph her doing whatever you are doing. Since she'll be doing a lot of traveling with you might want a little bag to carry her in all the time.

Sue
top of a pencil, salt shaker, inside a tea-cup, on a bar of soap? next to a bigger rubber duck, inside a bowl of nuts, or grapes, or m&ms, little things like that...

Oh, boy...that's a fearless duck!

@jackelxing what and no picture of that?

I'm not sure where you live, but maybe in the middle of the road....let her play "chicken" lol
looking out a window
maybe find something a lot bigger than her to show how small she really is :)

I'd make out with it.
