I took a photo of myself last summer and wanted to upload it from an email to show myself on here but it won't upload. I used my cameraphone and the response I get is that it is an unsupported file.
Please could someone advise me and help me with this?
Maybe try opening it in some editing software, then save it as a different file type. Dunno why you'd be having a problem though, what file type is the image?
That's my suggestion also, as Rachael said. Perhaps if you upload it to a site like Lunapic (link below), and then go to the File tab and Save Image--it let's you choose what type of file to save it as, so you can save it as a JPG. Good luck!
just save it to your desk top. then open edit and save as jpeg file and see if that works.
you can convert gif image to jpeg in your simple edit program on your pc no worries.
