A member in another web forum posted this and I thought it was a cool idea. Post a photo of yourself. Not a photo of you necessarily, but a photo of how you perceive yourself...maybe just how you see yourself today, or even in general. We spend so much time trying to capture an image in front of us; what does the image look like behind the camera? For the record, I have no idea what I'll post for myself. I thought I would throw this out there and try to get to myself later.
argh, wrinkles. Was trying to avoid this. I suppose I could use one of fb images. I've got one on there that's ok. I'm not very photogenic, always behind the camera, lol.
I think a lot of people already have a "selfie" they like. This one is my favorite (i'm the one with the camera stuck to my face). This is pretty much how everyone sees me. :)
My husband took this, it's my guys and I last April. I hate how I look so rarely have photos taken of me.
I like the idea too of something that you feel represents you, will have to think about that one though and post later once those little guys up above are hopefully asleep.
This is sort of how I see myself I guess.. it's a really really old photo, but I like being silly and I like being with people.. and I am an outrageous flirt. Perhaps that's not the greatest thing to say about myself.. But I feel like this kinda shows that quite well. The guy next to me is my mate Will who is my crew when I do sailing competitions - without him I wouldn't win, and he definitely is like my driving force for anything to do with sailing. :)
Also, I absolutely love everyone else's selfies.. :D
Not the best photo ever, but this is how I generally look. A little goofy with excitement at the small pleasures in life. Like getting my first iphone!
(from the peace theme..man, i have grown leaps and bounds photographically since then!) i think this is how i'm seen mostly...chipper, smiley, goofy, and all of that.
but occasionally people find out i have a dark side...
in all honesty (sorry to post more than one), i'm mostly like this when i'm alone...either playing guitar (not well), or with my nose in a book...just being to myself and having alone time. i really enjoy solitude sometimes, and i think people don't think of me that way.
@nikkidee that is possibly the most magnificent zombie photo i've ever seen. and we must have been posting at the same time; i find it funny we both put up zombie shots.

I'm very self-conscious seeing myself in pictures. I'm always that person behind the camera. One of my to do things in 365 is to have at least one good selfie before the projects ends. Need to step out of that comfort zone one of these days. I took one selfie though for the theme-spooky but I wasn't recognizable so it was ok. :-)
This is me. Unusual to see me at all, I'm always behind the camera and I'm actually camera shy but got my hair curled last night for a night out and fancied getting my picture taken, lol. You probably won't see a lot of me after this.

This is how I saw myself on what I considered the longest day of 2010. It was one of those days where everything that could go wrong did (or at least it felt like that).
@oregon86 There is some code under a "Share" heading on the right side of you photo...copy and paste that to these message boards and your image will appear - for future posting.
@fluffy Fiona it breaks my heart that you say "I can't stand me." You are a lovely, bright, and inquistive person and you need to love yourself more than you love anyone/thing else. How do I know these things about you? Because I follow you, you follow me, you encourage me when I need it and you have lovely insights. Don't beat yourself up cuz there are way too many idiots out there just waiting to do that to you! Okay, I'll crawl back in my hole now.
Go figure, I just loaded a selfie today. :) This is all I am, black hair, green hoodie and the glasses. In this case I do hope the cover doesn't tell the whole story...
I'm going to be gone most of the day anyway so I thought I'd try to take a self portrait and make that my 365. All I accomplished was highlighting my double chin and crow's feet. Me in all my glory, no apology :)
