How do you retrieve you project when you finish?

I realize I am a long way from this point, and the answer is probably on this site somewhere, but I can't seem to locate it. Here's my question . . . I save my daily photos in a folder on my hard drive, but the comments I make on 365 are only on 365. How do we, or do we, retrieve everything when we finish? I want to print these at the end of the year but I want to include the verbal journaling as well.

ME TOO!! Good question. I'd love to know soon too because I'm almost finished with my first year. I am going to make a book of all my photos and captions. I have a feeling it might be a copy and paste thing :( but if theres an easier way I'd like to know.

I have one more question too for anyone who knows (like Barb, it may have already been asked, but I can't seem to locate it):

WHEN ONE YEAR OF 365 IS COMPLETE, SHOULD I MAKE A NEW ALBUM OR KEEP GOING WITH THE SAME ONE? WILL ANY OF THE PHOTOS OR CAPTIONS EVER DELETE?

Thank you both for asking those questions because I've been wondering also. I started on January 1st I am using my 365 album to kind of 'document' my year. I sure would love to retrieve it somehow.

As far as keeping the comments I believe they will not be saved if you delete your photos and reload. so Im assuming they will not be saved anywhere except in your album under your pic. there probably is a real tech way of saving them but I dont know how.. one way I would do it . would be to insert your photo into a word doc and then copy and paste your comments under the photo. and keep them all in the one file..
and I think you can just continue on from day 366, without starting another album.

Im not sure if getting an Ace membership or not would help in saving those comments or if they have the same issues .

Hi all, just putting my experience in here. I have an ace account and can download my images on the original size. I noticed however that when downloading them in full size from the site, my subject and text is stored in the Exif data of the jpg image (background data hidden inside the jpg). When looking at the image with picasa, or uploading them to flick, that info keeps popping up. So it should be somewhere within the images if you do download them full size again from the site.
Haven't fully explored this, or if there are limitations, but perhaps it will help set you on the right path.

@Lauren211, I'm doing my second year this year and I am just continuing in the same album. It will count from 100% to 200% and all images remain available in the album. I'm at 106% now I believe :-)

@raymond - thank you so much!! That's great to know :) I will do the same then. just keep on going with the same album.

@raymond @nikkers - one more question. maybe its stupid haha. What exactly is the benefit of having an ace membership? Should I get one before my first year is over?

I find it useful as I use the two extra albums if I have another picture I'd really like to share for that day, or a youtube video of a slideshow of pics. In my regular album I only put the actual 365 photos.

Plus, I had lost a few of the original photos on my hard drive this year and was so glad I could download them full size from the site again. Was a real lifesaver. So I definitely think it was worth it :-)

Ace membership gives you access to 3 albums which you can use all at the same time or keep to use with your 2nd and 3rd years. If you don't have Ace you have to continue on in your same album. Ace also gives you access to daily stats on your pictures and the most important thing is that it helps Ross to run this site.

@raymond That helps Raymond but how do you download from the site? And I may be doing a disservice to myself because rather than uploading the full photo I have been emailing to my project from Picasa which compresses the file, I think? I'm doing that because twice when I uploaded from 365, rather than emailing, my original photo uploaded, rather than my edited version. I obviously did something incorrectly but haven't been able to figure it out.
