Help ross and anyone else...

Ross when i load the full site on android it says i need to download flash player and ddirects to adobe page, and there is no version for android.

When i go to the "simple uploader" page it says next to each image number "uploads disabled".

I know i can email through, but my email on this phone is pretty random with reibility lol, but if i do get ut through, is the subject the title and body the description ??

Any other ideas about uploading via phone browsers? I dont mind using the full site, it just wont work fully lol.

Thanks peeps :-D

@taidster I find emailing pictures is reliable enough if you send open it for sending with the photo viewer and hit send via email, for some reason attachments are flakey with android email...

You might be able to change the uploads disabled thing, I haven't tried yet but it's obviously possibly for the phones to upload data.

Just tried simple uploader on mine and it's worked. Maybe get Opera Mini on there, as an alternate browser, and try going via that?

Should add I'm a Desire HD running Froyo, Android 2.2, and was using the stock browser

Flash is only available on Android 2.2 or higher - so I'm in the same boat as @Taidster, as I have an Xperia X10 on 2.1.

I used to simply email it and then go to the full site on the Android browser and manage the uploads that way. I could do this on 1.6 and Now I'm using the full size on the camera (8Mpix) I can't do that any more, since the photos are too large to email.

If I remember correctly, I could use Dolphin or Firefox (there's a beta out but it is quite slow) and perform uploads that way.

Hope this helps - ping me back if I can help any more.

@taidster Hi Tadii, David Harcombe is my son and works with the Android system, I thought it would be 'right up his street, which is why I tagged him with the query. Hope it helps: Graham

PS Hope you, your family and the possums are recovering well.

@ellida thats fine, thank you graham :)) i'm about to upload some photos and after that we're going around to the old house to leave some treats for the possums, and maybe see them....they weren't there a few nights ago when we visited.

@aldric thanks david, i tried dolphine but having trouble even getting the browser to load 365 at all lol, will try with better signal later, thanks though, at least now i know there is a reason for it hehe :)

@taidster: I just upgraded my X10 to an 'unofficial' version of Android 2.2 and installed flash. The full site will now function completely, and even uploads flawlessly with the normal flash uploader. Don't know if that helps...
