Would it be asking a lot to include a link to a personal photography wish list in each person's profile or album area? That way if you see a pic you would like to re-create or if a photo gives you an idea, you can have a place to record it in your own account? It could be a bucket list or just an idea list. You could make it private or public.
If you wanted to go crazy, others could comment on each item on the list. Each comment could be displayed under the idea as a reply, instead of by time of reply down the post, like it is now. (I see this with the TY's for posting your fav pics from other people, its hard to determine who they are thanking w/o going back through the posts.) You could have a little box to check off when you accomplish it and you could post a link on the list next to/under/by the idea.
I see so many great pics on here that inspire me or that I want to try, and I don't always have a place to write the ideas down when I see them.
Allow the "inspire-ER" to see the outcome when you post it as well? :)
I know there are a lot of people out there against "copying" but that term is really a loose one. I would hope they could take it as a complement that they have inspired someone to try something new. After all that is one of the main reasons a lot of us use this site or so it seems from reading a lot of bios.

No, you aren't missing anything.... You have simplified my idea with a few swift key strokes and the time it takes to click "post reply"!
I was thinking of some sort of typed list so you could jot down notes or a link about your idea or whatever you needed to put down to remember, then be able to go back to it when you want to attempt something
The idea came from reading several posts about people's bucket lists'. I thought wow, it would be cool to see that on their profile, if they so choose. I thought I would TRY to get a concensus from the users before I suggested it to @Scrivna as an idea to better the site. It doesn't make something better if nobody uses it. I will see how many posts this thread gets but so far only 2 people have responded, out of 137 views, so I'm thinking it's not that big of a deal to people.
