Same Usernames?

I was just looking at the speech bubble thingy and I clicked on the xxx mentionned you in a comment bit. Anyway, when I clicked on it, it lead me to a picture that I had never seen before and a reply to comment from someone who wasn't me...but had the same username as me...
Has anyone else experienced this?

Really? Perhaps that person has an underscore or something that was left out and thus notified you?

That happened to me last night. There was nothing on the page that referenced me. Weird.

I also had the same last night. Speech bubble said "so & so mentioned you in a comment" but there was nothing there! :o( Strange!!!

@judifff Sometimes people will comment then delete the comment leaving you notified to nothing

It happened to me last night too. I got a notification from someone I've never heard of and there was no reference to me at all - not even someone with the same user name. Weird!

one of my friends posted a topic here with a similar tale, he had himself post a comment on his own photo using his user name, but he never made the comment in the first place. Here is his comments:
