The camera for my office has been dropped by a coworker and the lcd screen is actually cracked (the protective glass is fine). Does anyone have an idea if this is a quick and inexpensive fix, or is it best just to buy a replacement.
You may be able to find an answer at www.instructables.com under technology and then photography. I have seen some things like this on there but I am not sure if there is tutorial for this exact camera/situation.
Not sure. You can always send it back to Nikon for repair, at a cost. Or you could try to claim on your insurance - you'll probably get a better camera for the cost of the excess.
