I'm sure this has already been thought of but has anyone ever got together with a few fellow 365'ers in their location for a few hours or half day session of walking around the area to see what kind of photos they can get?
Get some compare / contrast of what YOU would normally shoot and what the others would shoot for a feel of things?
I'm pretty rammed for the next few weeks but if anyone's interested in doing a London walk, give us a shout and ideas!
Am in Brighton, can't say for sure I'd be down for this as, although no stranger to meeting strangers from the strangernets, walking around taking photos in public is kinda foreign to me! Still, keeping tuned in to developments...

I am a richard, but not from London,I live in Upper New York State, U.S.A. I live next to the St. Lawerence river and have a 25 ft poontoon boat, also a captains licience
and would love to take people around some of the islands in this wonderful Thousand Islands Area. I am about 7 miles from the thousand island bridge

I'm from Leeds :D I'm coming up to Bromley (near London) Over Easter but I doubt my parents would be too thrilled about me meeting some randoms off the internet xD, but if it were in Leeds, they wouldn't know :P
This is a fantastic idea! My dear friend is my regular photo buddy (and a fellow 365er) and we go on trips together regularly. It is fantastic comparing shots and really seeing others perspective on things. For me, I am more of a nature-minded focus while he is more symmetrical, angular and balanced. We can go to the same exact place and see things so differently.
Last weekend I met up with a fellow 365er I had not met before and we met up for an afternoon of photography. It was a blast! Anyone in Sacramento/San Franciso/Tahoe area want to meet up? Let me know!!!
I think this could be fun. I may be down, but I'm in the Central Valley area. Don't mind traveling a bit, but I'm a baby so I would probably bring my husband with :)
wow lots of interest... I think if we seem to find viable groups, maybe start a thread per location.. what way people from different cities dont have to trawl through this one thread to see where theirs is?
@Christine - I am in the Central Valley (Sacramento) as well. Los Angeles would be cool but is not possible as a day trip. I know I will be in LA the first week of June but are there any other Central Valley 365ers that would like to meet up? Chicago here, and I'd be up for it, too. However, as Rebecca stated, it would be nicer to do it when the weather is a bit better and the flowers and trees have sprouted. :-)
A Los Angeles walk sounds great.... Perhaps a nature walk shooting plants and flowers at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada-Flintridge (just north of Glendale) later this spring would be a great way to meet. They have lots of things to shoot, and the flowers, lilacs, irises, roses, camellias, azaleas, all in bloom. Descanso has perhaps one of the best Rose Gardens around. Remember this pic of a rose? This was shot at Descanso...
Autumn, I'm in Carson and would love to meet up in Tahoe. Can't for a couple of weeks - work is too busy right now. But during spring break, I should have time. It's the week of April 5. Interested?
I'm in Richmond, VA...what about a DC/VA group...or if in summer when I have some time off I'd be willing to meet up in NC...I have a son in Wilmington, NC. End of June I will visit dad in Buffalo, NY and mid July will be near Orlando, FL...so if someone is organizing lists, put me on all of these...who knows...this could work!
Count me in on a Los Angeles walk. Also, for those of you who aren't aware of it, there's a Los Angeles Hiking/Photography group that does regular walks. Some of the "hikes" are really more "walks", but there's a big variety. Feel free to email me if you want more info.
